A wonderful song by Talat Mehmood from the film Maalik (1958). Music is compsed by Ghulam Mohammad and lyrics are by Shakeel Badayuni.
The film had Talat Mehmood and Suraiya - two actors who were well known as playback singers in addition to their acting.
As I wrote when I posted the wonderful duet by the two leading actors, , Naushad produced the film so that his friend and assistant Ghulam Mohammad could get a chance to score music independently! Ghulam Mohammad did get independent assignments but they were few. It was only after his death that he got lot of recognition for his score in Pakeeza.
